Yikes! Guns!

Here are the key facts about Indiana opponent New Mexico State in the first round of the NCAA tournament (we refuse to call them second-round games):

Hometown: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Conference: WAC

Record: 26-9 (10-4)

Nickname: Aggies

Tournament Record: 19 NCAA tournament appearances (10-20, with the extra losses coming in the old Final Four consolation game), the last was in 2010 that ended in a three-point loss to Michigan State in the first round.

Most notable NBA player: John Williamson, who had his number retired by the New Jersey Nets.

Fun Fact: Lou Henson coached the Aggies twice (1966-75 and 1997-2004).
