Mock Bracket: Where Big Ten Teams Landed

The NCAA on Friday wrapped up one of its better outreach efforts, in which they invite media members to go through a mock selection process for the men’s basketball tournament.

Here’s how the media members seeded Big Ten teams (based on a hypothetical rest of the season and conference tournaments):

  • Ohio State – No. 1 seed in West, opening in Pittsburgh
  • Michigan State – No. 2 seed in Midwest, opening in Columbus
  • Indiana – No. 3 seed in East, opening in Columbus
  • Michigan – No. 4 seed in Midwest, opening in Nashville
  • Wisconsin – No. 5 seed in South, opening in Portland
  • Purdue – No. 9 seed in East, opening in Pittsburgh
  • Illinois – Play-in game as No. 10 in West

No Minnesota. The full bracket is here.
