Daily Sandusky

These stories just keep coming, so we’ll link the best that we see and update as needed.

Victim: The New York Times has a story on Victim 1. It’s tough to read.

Trend: Jason Gay of the Wall Street Journal has some harsh words for the Paterno Way and the Grand Experiment after yesterday’s story in his paper.

There goes the judge: The Philly Inquirer reports that all five Centre County Court judges recused themselves from the Sandusky case, given their relationships with the university and Second Mile.

Waiting: Sandusky’s preliminary hearing was delayed six days to December 13 due to “logistical needs” of the court. Perhaps they’ll add a new wing to accommodate all of the media expected.

More allegations: As noted yesterday, Sara Ganim breaks another story – with two new cases of abuse being investigated by Children and Youth Services in Pennsylvania.

Lawyer speaks: ABC has an interview with Sandusky’s lawyer Joe Amendola, who claims Sandusky couldn’t have committed these crimes at his house because the house was always too crowded – especially on football weekends. No word on the showers at the football facility. He also says Governor Corbett could have had Sandusky arrested at any time.
